Dimetrodon was a special kind of creature it wasn`t a true dinosaur. Instead Dimetrodon was a Synapsid, or a mammal- like reptile. Dimetrodon grew to be around 10`ft in length, and weighed about 450 pounds. It`s most distinguishing traight was the tall sail that adorned its back. This sail may have been used to regulate body heat, as well as help attract a mate during the breeding season.

Combat

It is believed dimetrodon was an ambush predator, lieing hidden untill its prey got close enough for it to rush out and attack, It wasn`t capable of running but could move quickly for a short distance. It had powerful jaws with many sharp teeth to keep a firm grip on its prey.

Jaw Lock (DnD Monster Feat)

From D&D Wiki

Author: aelryinth

Jaw Lock

You bite and don’t let go.

Requirments: Bite attack only (no claws), mean attitude. Probably canine.

Benefit: If you make a bite attack against an opponent, you may force a grapple check without provoking an AoO. If you succeed, you may forgo all further attacks and grapple attempts, and eliminate your Dex bonus to lock your jaw. You do automatic bite damage every round (roll normally), and will not let go until your enemy, or yourself, is dropped.
